Valerie Kent has been hired as marketing manager for Roadnet Technologies. Kent was most recently director of special events for Mercy Health Foundation.
Kent will oversee the day-to-day marketing functions for the fleet tracking software provider, including the oversight of all advertising, collateral development, public relations, special events and social media activities.
She brings more than 17 years of diversified marketing experience and has also worked within the marketing departments of Arbitron; the R.H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland at College Park; Williams Scotsman and FILA Sports in an array of management level positions.
“Valerie brings an extremely strong and well-rounded background in marketing and brand development to Roadnet Technologies, and is the ideal professional to provide leadership and direction to this key area of our company,” said Len Kennedy, CEO. “She has demonstrated a successful track record of developing and executing diverse marketing campaigns, and we were attracted to her overall industry skill-set,” he added.
