Terry Prime has joined Spireon as chief technology officer. Spireon is a provider of mobile resource management and business intelligence solutions for companies with mobile assets and workforces.

Prime will be responsible for product development and service operations across the company’s multiple information platforms, the company said.

“Spireon is an innovative company that invests significant resources to remain on the forefront of emerging technology in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and business intelligence markets,” said Prime. “I am excited to be a part of a team that recognizes the value of creativity and out-of-the-box thinking in business technology.”

Prime has 27 years of international experience in the computer and telecommunications industries, working with companies in the United States, the United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands.

“Terry’s experience not only as an engineer, but also as a developer and promoter of wireless and GPS technology products provides a powerful combination for Spireon and our customers,” said Spireon CEO Brian Boling. “He understands the tremendous opportunity SaaS-based platforms present for businesses looking to cost-effectively optimize their mobile assets and workforce. Even better, he understands how to capture and deliver that opportunity. We foresee exceptional things from our technology development programs under Terry’s watch.”
