Pilot Flying J continues to expand in second quarter

Four new locations in Midwest, South

Pilot Flying J continues to expand its company footprint, offering customers enhanced food and beverage options, fuel and conveniences. Since March 2016, Pilot Flying J opened four new locations throughout the Midwest and Southern parts of the U.S. and added a total of 260 new jobs to the local communities, the company says.

“Our goal is to give our customers convenient access to the goods and services they need when traveling,” said Ken Parent, Pilot Flying J President. “We’re proud to add these new travel centers to our network. In addition to providing the reliability and experiences Pilot Flying J is known for, each location will also feature our newly enhanced Wi-Fi network to keep drivers connected to their family and friends along their journeys.”

Each new location features full amenities for area residents as well as travelers and professional drivers, including:

  • Multiple fueling positions and diesel lanes with high-speed pumps for quicker refueling
  • PJ Fresh fast, casual food offerings, including roasted chicken, meatloaf, pizza, soup, salads, sandwiches and hot dogs
  • Premium coffee and cappuccino selections
  • Everyday products for quick shopping needs
  • Showers, as well as driver lounges in many locations
  • Pilot Flying J’s newly-enhanced wireless internet network, which is complimentary inside the stores 

New locations opened during the April 1 through June 30 timeframe include:

  • Pasadena, TX – 1305 Pasadena Freeway; features Arby’s, Cinnabon and Auntie Anne’s, as well as 12 fueling positions and eight diesel lanes
  • Bridgeview, IL – 7501 South Harlem; features Moe’s and Cinnabon, as well as 14 fueling positions and seven diesel lanes
  • Jacksonville, FL – 4075 Jones Branch Blvd.; features Arby’s, Cinnabon and Auntie Anne’s, as well as 10 fueling positions and eight diesel lanes
  • South Bay, FL – 210 US Highway 27; features 12 fueling positions and six diesel lanes

The combined network of more than 650 Pilot and Flying J Travel Centers across North America serves more than 1.3 million customers daily, according to the company.
