Trucker Path enhances real-time navigation with new features
Key takeaways:
- Trucker Path now includes the DOT 511 Traffic Network, providing professional drivers with live updates on traffic, construction, and road closures.
- The app offers tools like real-time parking availability, multi-stop trip planning, and bridge height restrictions tailored for truck drivers.
- With these enhancements, over one million drivers can optimize routes and improve safety on the roads.
Trucker Path recently added the DOT 511 Traffic Network to the live navigation features it provides professional drivers.
“With the addition of DOT 511 feeds to the Trucker Path app, our live mapping is just as strong, if not stronger, than popular consumer apps that don’t provide truck-specific navigation,” Chris Oliver, CMO at Trucker Path, said. “With DOT 511 feeds, the over one million professional truck drivers who use Trucker Path can now see real-time footage of traffic congestion, plus live construction and crash information throughout the U.S. With the DOT 511 feeds, users not only know what lies ahead but also have the option of selecting alternate routes.”
