Dash Cam of the Week: ‘Truckies’ Down Under

Nov. 4, 2016
For this Dash Cam of the Week, we return Down Under—so you’ll need to forgive everyone for driving on the left side of the road. The problem here is that one tractor-trailer driver, swerving to avoid stopped traffic, crosses the median and takes the right side of the freeway. And that’s the wrong side.

Subsequent reports on the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page indicate no one was seriously injured.

While we generally don’t run compilation videos, this collection of sympathetic “truckie” clips from DCOA has picked up nearly a million views—and coverage in Sydney’s The Daily Telegraph, featuring an interview with  truck drivers who explain “there’s plenty of idiots on our roads.”

Hmmm, sounds familiar. G’day, mate.
