Tennessean Travel Stops is rebranding and relaunching its flagship Cornersville, Tennessee, location, set for early summer 2026. The company, which operates travel stops serving truck drivers and family roadtrippers, will integrate Dolly Parton’s cultural influence and Tennessee heritage into the travel experience.
Partnering with the Tennessean Travel Stop and Sachs Capital Group, Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stops plans for additional locations across Tennessee and nationwide in 2026. The Cornersville site will serve as a proof of concept and flagship for future travel stops under the Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stops brand.
The rebranded location will provide modern amenities, curated dining, and regional retail while focusing on the needs of truck drivers, offering a comfortable and welcoming stop for long-haul operations. Permitting and partnership agreements are underway to ensure the site meets operational and design standards for efficient truck service and traveler comfort.
The partnership also supports local economic development, creating jobs and bringing attention to underserved counties in Tennessee and beyond. Further announcements regarding expansion, opening timelines, and design partners will be shared as plans progress.
"I have spent the bulk of my life on the road, and more specifically on a bus," Parton stated. "All the years spent visiting greasy spoon cafes, truck stops, and roadside pit stops have given me an understanding of what travelers desire on the road. Whether you are driving a truck, a bus, or a car, you want a place that feels like home and recharges you for the rest of your journey. I believe we will fill a void out there on the highways, all while bringing the heart and soul of Tennessee."
