Truck Parking Club surpasses 5,000 locations to expand reservable truck parking network
Key takeaways
- Truck Parking Club surpasses 5,000 U.S. locations, expanding access to 80,000+ reservable truck parking spaces.
- Federal data links parking shortages to 457 fatal crashes yearly as drivers are forced onto ramps and shoulders.
- The network uses warehouses, terminals, and repair shops to add capacity without construction.
Truck Parking Club recently surpassed 5,000 reservable truck parking locations across the U.S., expanding access to more than 80,000 parking spaces in 49 states. The company connects drivers with unused space at private properties, including warehouses, trucking terminals, self-storage facilities, and repair shops.
The network is designed to help address the long-standing truck parking shortage that federal data links to safety risks and hundreds of fatal crashes annually. Instead of relying on new construction, the model activates existing private property and enables real-time reservations through a digital platform, adding capacity without public infrastructure investment.
Truck Parking Club has grown rapidly since launching in 2022, scaling from its first 100 locations in just over a year to 5,000 today, with a goal of reaching 10,000 locations by the end of 2026.
"We've created a new way to add truck parking capacity at scale and at speed, without waiting on construction, leasing, or new infrastructure dollars," said Evan Shelley, founder and CEO of Truck Parking Club. "Hundreds of thousands of drivers have already parked with us, and we’re actively partnering with everyone from the largest fleets to independent owner-operators to help them use Truck Parking Club to improve efficiency and deliver real value to both drivers and carriers.”
