Members of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Assn. (OOIDA) can receive a $1,000 cash rebate from Peterbilt when they purchase a qualifying truck through a Peterbilt dealership.

“Peterbilt and owner-operators have been synonymous for decades and we’re to continue to support these valuable customers and the OOIDA organization,” said Robert Woodall, Peterbilt assistant general manager of sales and marketing.

Up to three trucks can be purchased during 2015 under the rebate program. Trucks available through the program are:

    ·         Model 579 with a 72-, 78- or 80-in. sleeper.

    ·         Model 389 with a 72-, 78- or 80-in. sleeper.

    ·         Model 587 with a factory-installed sleeper.

Customers must take retail delivery of the vehicle during 2015 and must request the rebate through OOIDA within 30 days of taking delivery. To be eligible, the OOIDA member must be in good standing for at least 90 days prior to taking retail delivery.
