FleetOwner, the trucking industry's leading information source for more than 90 years, announces Cristina Commendatore is rejoining its editorial team as executive editor.

Commendatore brings 12 years of professional reporting experience to this role, five years of which has been directly serving the transportation industry. She previously worked as digital editor for FleetOwner and American Trucker. In her most recent role as senior editor for Waste360, she reported on related topics such as business operational challenges, driver and technician shortages, truck safety, and new vehicle technologies. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn.

"Cristina's return to FleetOwner adds her expertise to the continuation of award winning editorial to our audience," Endeavor's Executive Vice President, Transportation, Larry Greenberger said.

Commendatore is based in Connecticut, and will report to Erica Schueller, editorial director of the Endeavor Commercial Vehicle Group.

“I am very excited to welcome back Cristina to the masthead of FleetOwner and American Trucker magazines,” Schueller said. “Cristina is well-versed and knowledgeable in the transportation market, both through her previous experience on our publications as well the insight she has gained in her most recent role. She has a reputation for creating useful and engaging content, and has a passion for reporting on the trucking industry."

Prior to being named editorial director of the Commercial Vehicle Group in February, Schueller served as the editor-in-chief of Fleet Maintenance magazine.
