Air suspension solution for Ram chassis cab trucks

May 30, 2013

Kelderman Air Suspension Systemshas released a new air suspension solution for 2013 and newer model Ram 4500 and 5500 chassis cab trucks.

For the new suspension, Kelderman removed the leaf springs and replaced them with a Kelderman 4-Link rear air suspension system that rides totally on air, overall ride and towing capabilities dramatically improve whether loaded or unloaded. Releasing the air out of the suspension can allow for 3 in. of drop in addition to the 2 in. drop provided by the 4-Link air suspension setup, simplifying cargo loading and trailer hook-up, the company said.

An optional self-leveling air control system automatically adjusts the air pressure in the suspension to make it return to ride height when weight is added to the vehicle.
