Navman Wireless North America has added real-time event alerting to its OnlineAVL2 fleet management software

Navman Wireless North America has added real-time event alerting to its OnlineAVL2 fleet management software, allowing managers to receive instant notification of potentially costly or dangerous situations.

OnlineAVL2 includes idle alerts for fuel efficiency; stationary alerts to signal vehicle inefficiency and provide data to increase productivity; unauthorized use notification for vehicles operating during off-hours, and historical reports.

“Navman Wireless is committed to making fleet management more effective by providing the industry’s most complete and customizable solution,” said Renaat Ver Eecke, vp of Navman Wireless North America. “Our new OnlineAVL2real-time alerting features allow managers to actively address key issues that directly result in increased employee efficiency and productivity, improved operations and cost reduction.”

OnlineAVL2’s real-time alerts feature is currently available free of charge to current Navman Wireless customers, either as a free upgrade request or during their next scheduled automatic software update, the company said.
