DriveCam is offering a new cellular data delivery option with a Web interface for its driver behavior solution

DriveCam is offering a new cellular data delivery option with a Web interface for its driver behavior solution.

The DriveCam solution utilizes a video event recorder that activates when the system detects harsh driving, such as hard braking, swerving, collisions, etc. The recorded video is later sent to DriveCam safety experts to rate the severity of the event, and aid customers in coaching drivers.

Customers can now opt for cellular uploads with a Web interface to simplify deployment, and eliminate investments in a Wi-Fi infrastructure. This solution is geared toward long-haul, and sales and service fleets that typically lack regular access to Wi-Fi, DriveCam said.
