Using GPS-enabled mobile phones, WorkTrack provides location-based tracking, dispatch and reporting for field workers in real-time.
Launched in January, it's a hosted application that requires no additional hardware or software, according to developer Aligo Inc.
Workers with GPS phones can report on their status using a simple interface, and data will be stored for forwarding if the phone is out of a coverage area.
The system provides managers with a dashboard view of field employees, allowing them to view an entire workforce or focus on an individual worker or location.
The hosted application also offers a variety of reports and can be used to automate payroll and billing systems.
