GE Capital Solutions Fleet Services has introduced an enhanced online vehicle configurator, combining manufacturer vehicle data with an easy-to-use workflow tool to help save fleet managers time, the company says. Located within GE's Your Office @ Fleet customer web site, the vehicle configurator helps managers select vehicle make, model and options for a smoother and more accurate vehicle ordering process, according to GE.

Features include a workflow layout; additional vehicles and vehicle data; enhanced vehicle color swatches and definition; additional access to ordering data for all vehicle types; and the functionality to email, print and download vehicle selection.

Fleet managers in search of more complete driver profiles can also take advantage of a new feature at the Your Office web site that allows them to add drivers without assigning them to a vehicle. The “Add Driver” feature within the my.Drivers/my. Vehicles application on the site lets managers begin a profile for any driver, allowing more flexibility, more consistent and accurate data, and easier driver and unit assignments, GE says. www.gefleet.com
