After 49 years in business, Recochem has become known for innovation, agility, growth, and socially responsible business practices. Our reputation has earned us vendor appreciation awards from several major retail chains and excellent relationships with our suppliers.

Recochem is Canada's premiere supplier of aftermarket automotive coolants and is intent on achieving the same status in the U.S.

For the past 15 years, we have been formulating, packaging, and distributing a wide range of automotive products throughout the world, and in 1997 we purchased Dow Chemical's North American, Australian, and Pacific Rim coolant production rights.

We offer the latest in coolant technology, like OAT for Long Life coolants, and expert technical support. Recochem is strategically located in Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton, and Vancouver to facilitate shipping from coast to coast and south of the border.

Recochem works directly with our customers to help ensure the safe and environmentally responsible use of engine coolants through our "Product Stewardship" initiative, which is an extension of the chemical industry's Responsible Care program. Product Stewardship is a cradle-to-grave ethic that includes a fundamental concern for all who make, distribute, and use our products and for the environment.

Recochem participates with both the chemical manufacturers of ethylene glycol and other formulators of engine coolant through industry associations and government initiatives concerning the safe formulating, sale, handling, use, and disposal of our products.

Recochem puts great effort into educating our customers on product application and suitability for the job. We publish brochures, literature and product information sheets, post FAQs on our web site (www.recochem.com), and organize seminars for our sales force and distributors. Our goals are to fully educate and satisfy the needs of our customers and promote the practices of Product Stewardship.

To accomplish these goals, we ensure our employees strictly adhere to the ISO procedures and work instructions we have implemented company-wide and consistently demonstrate high quality standards in production.

We have also established self-imposed life testing in our laboratories to monitor our coolants and other consumer products for product safety and package compatibility. The information collected from these tests is used to continuously improve the product integrity through the use of innovative packaging technology.

In order to fulfill our promises, we have designed a performance lab that is able to conduct a full range of ASTM testing. It is one of a few advanced facilities in North America for developing new-generation coolant products, which provide extended service periods and better protection for all types of engines.

The coolant lab, together with our dedicated technical service staff, is always available to support our customers in troubleshooting coolant system issues and making systems safer and more efficient.

At Recochem, our safety mandate is accomplished through aggressive Product Stewardship practices, by participating in and monitoring industry and government initiatives, and, most importantly, by educating our employees, sales staff, and consumers on the safe, proper use, storage, and disposal of all of our quality products.
