Snider Tire opens sixth retread plant

Snider Tire has opened its sixth Michelin Retread Technologies (MRT) retread plant. The new facility is located at company headquarters in Greensboro, NC, and includes the latest in MRT technologies, the company said. MRT uses X-ray casing inspection in its retread process as well as laser shearography nondestructive inspection on 100% of casings. There are now 44 franchise members and 78 retreading

Snider Tire has opened its sixth Michelin Retread Technologies (MRT) retread plant. The new facility is located at company headquarters in Greensboro, NC, and includes the latest in MRT technologies, the company said.

MRT uses X-ray casing inspection in its retread process as well as laser shearography nondestructive inspection on 100% of casings.

There are now 44 franchise members and 78 retreading plants in the Michelin Retread Technologies North American network. Snider Tire has 42 locations providing a range of services.
