Autocar has selected Bennett DriveAway, a division of Bennett Truck Transport, to provide vehicle transport management services. Under the deal, Bennett DriveAway will develop and manage delivery of Autocar’s refuse vehicles.
“Bennett DriveAway looks forward to its partnership with Autocar, one of the oldest vehicle makers in the country,” said Tom Woodall, vp of operations for Bennett DriveAway. “Its LCF Class 8 trucks reside in a unique niche as refuse vehicles, and they will present Bennett DriveAway another opportunity to demonstrate our diverse capabilities.”
Bennett DriveAway has been moving assembled vehicles for more than 20 years, utilizing over 1,200 Dept. of Transportation certified contractors. Autocar is the largest North American manufacturer of low-cab forward Class 8 trucks.
