Due to their strong synergies, two business units of Haldex Commercial Vehicle Systems are being merging into a new unit

Due to their strong synergies, two business units of Haldex Commercial Vehicle Systems are being merging into a new unit. The Brake Controls and Air Management units are becoming the Air Controls business unit, which will be led by Paul Bale.

Also announced were some personnel changes related to the merger. Wim Goossens will assume responsibility for the company’s Heidelberg, Germany manufacturing and CVS operations in Hungary in addition to overseeing the Weyesheim, France European Distribution facility.

In addition, Don Gilmore will assume responsibility for the Grand Haven, MI, and Iola, KS, facilities along with a distribution center in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Georg Haussler has left the company to pursue other opportunities.
