    Curt Wagner has been named director of marketing for Hendrickson Auxiliary Axle Systems. The company said he brings to the position a strong background in truck suspension systems and an extensive knowledge of Hendrickson products, being a 14-year veteran of the firm.

    Wagner previously held the post of account manager, representing all Hendrickson divisions to Volvo Trucks and Mack Trucks Inc., a position he held since 1999. He first joined the company as plant manager of the Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems Lebanon, IN, plant, and moved to the trailer division headquarters in Canton, OH, as a marketing manager in 1997.

    Mike Gottschalk, gm of Hendrickson Auxiliary Axle Systems, said Wagner’s responsibilities for the marketing function will include direction for research and analysis of market trends, product gap and direction analysis, industry trends and customer dialogue.
