According to Bergstrom, it will soon be releasing a new HVAC system designed for off-highway vehicles. The system, to be available late in the first quarter, consists of four separate modules: a mode distribution module, a heat exchanger module, a blower module, and an air intake module.

By using four distinct modules, customers have the ability to choose an installed configuration that best fits their application, Bergstrom said.

“The modular nature of this product was a key component in the design and development process,” said John Bracey, vice president of engineering for Bergstrom. “We feel that we’ve succeeded in developing a system that is not only more flexible but also more robust, reliable, and that exceeds the performance of other comparable products on the market today.”

The unit includes standard automatic temperature controls, infinitely variable blower speed, customizable air inlet and outlet configurations, and flash programmable controller with CAN interface.
