Pressure Systems International fills new engineer/quality control post

Pressure Systems International (PSI), the manufacturer of the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by PSI, has hired Charles Lafuente to fill the new position of engineer/quality control manager. He will report directly to Kevin Hennig, vp of technical services

Pressure Systems International (PSI), the manufacturer of the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by PSI, has hired Charles Lafuente to fill the new position of engineer/quality control manager. He will report directly to Kevin Hennig, vp of technical services.

PSI said Lafuente brings a background in pneumatics and expertise in industrial production to his new position. His experience includes more than 15 years with Marshall Gas Controls of San Marcos, TX, most recently holding the position of product/senior sales engineer for the company.

“Charlie started with us in late 2010, and he has already had a positive impact,” stated Hennig. “He has contributed valuable input to our daily operations and we are pleased a person of his caliber has joined the PSI family.”

Lafuente holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

PSI produces automatic tire inflation systems and markets and sells its products in North America through ArvinMeritor as the Meritor Tire Inflation System by PSI.
