Truck dealership operator Rush Enterprises has acquired insurance and finance firm Advanced Transportation Insurance Services for $2 million

Truck dealership operator Rush Enterprises has acquired insurance and finance firm Advanced Transportation Insurance Services for $2 million.

Rush currently operates AIS (Associates Insurance Services), an independent San Antonio, TX-based company.

“This acquisition adds four locations to our insurance network, and also allows us to better serve the insurance needs of customers located in the Western half of the United States,” said W.M. “Rusty” Rush, president & CEO.

The new combined company will be named Associates Truck Insurance Services (ATIS) and remained headquartered in San Antonio.
