Tech Talk with TMC, the weekly trucking segment produced jointly by the American Trucking Assns. (ATA) and its Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC), which airs on The Dave Nemo Show on SiriusXM, will broadcast its 250th episode on June 22 at 10:05 am EDT.

The show, which can be found on SiriusXM’s RoadDog Trucking Channel (Sirius channel 147 and XM channel 171), includes TMC representatives discussing a range of technical issues of interest to the industry. It is also the fifth anniversary of the show’s debut.

“We’re thrilled to be able to present vital information from these experts to our trucking audience,” Nemo said. “Over the past five years, response to TMC’s presence on the show has been overwhelmingly positive and it’s great to have the members on the air on a weekly basis covering everything from the shiny side to the rubber side and everything in between.”

TMC technical director Robert Braswell appears on the program each week, along with a veteran TMC member. They discuss issues involving maintenance, inspection and specification of brakes, on-board vehicle electronics and electrical systems, engines, seating, tires and wheels, trailers, transmissions, chassis and suspensions.

“We think it’s a great opportunity to reach a segment of the industry that may not previously have been exposed to TMC and to hear from the folks who literally ‘wrote the book’ on heavy vehicle equipment and systems maintenance and application,” said Braswell.
