Fleet fuel and maintenance card provider U.S. Bank Voyager Fleet Systems is expanding its Voyager channel partnerpProgram with the addition of customers of Pettit Oil. Voyager also announced it plans to offer cards made from recycled plastic.

The latest Voyager channel partner, Pettit Oil will begin issuing co-branded fleet cards for its customers to use at its retail locations in western Washington State and at any of the 230,000 Voyager fuel and maintenance acceptance locations throughout the U.S.

“This gives us the opportunity to offer our fleet customers a more comprehensive fuel management system,” said Pettit Oil president Mike Barlow. Pettit Oil supplies more than 150 convenience stores and cardlock fueling locations in the state of Washington.

Voyager Fleet Systems is offering a customized fleet card made from recycled plastic for Boyett Petroleum, which is based in Modesto, CA. The cards contain recycled content ranging from 25% to 100%. The alternative card materials perform equally to cards produced with standard plastic while providing a greener material to the card industry, said Michael Oleniczek, senior vp & program manager for U.S. Bank Fuel Solutions.

The recycled plastic card is being made for U.S. Bank by CPI Card Group, he added, with U.S. Bank testing the cards for performance, durability, ink adhesion, lamination, die cutting and embossing.
