Cadec Corp. today announced the availability of satellite communications for its Mobius TTS system. In addition to satellite, the Mobius TTS supports multiple WAN (cellular) and WLAN (802.11b) networks.

The addition of satellite is targeted for customers who require contact with their vehicles at all times and travel in extremely remote areas where there is no other communication available for extended periods, Cadec said.

“(It is) a natural progression towards the company’s goal of having the most complete and cost-effective communication offering in the trucking industry,” said Les Dole, Cadec president & CEO.
