    Amsoil releases two new gear lub foorumlas

    Amsoil Inc. has two new gear-lube formulas available in 75W-90 and 80W-140 viscosities designed for extended service life of up to 500,000 miles in over-the-road trucks. Amsoil Long Life Synthetic Gear Lubes also feature superior shear stability for consistent performance through its service life, and excellent all-season performance, the company said.

    The oils meet ArvinMeritor (O-76E, O-76N for 75W-90) and (O-76A, O-80 for 80W-140) specifications for petroleum and synthetic oil viscosities, GO-J, GO-J+ specs set by Mack, and Dana SHAES 256 specs for 500,000-mile oil drains.
