Haul, a technology platform for CDL drivers that connects them with trucking companies to find assignments, has launched its personalized job recommendations feature. The new “For You” feature provides customized job recommendations for CDL drivers who are looking for work.
“We use a proprietary algorithm to show all jobs that will best fit into a driver’s personal preferences and financial goals,” said Toan Nguyen Le, Haul’s co-founder and CTO.

To set up the new feature, drivers click on the “For You” tab at the top of the jobs list in the Haul Driver app. For first-time users, the app prompts drivers to indicate their personal driving preferences like hourly rate, weekly hours, or ideal level of touch on an assignment. Drivers can change preferences as their needs change.
Once a driver has filled in their preferences, the “For You” job feed will automatically update with jobs that best match the driver’s preferences in real-time. Haul aims to reduce job search time so drivers can spend more time on the road.
“We’re excited to continue leading the industry with technology that better aligns the needs of both truck drivers and trucking companies to support one of the largest segments of the supply chain here in the US,” said Timothy-James Henry, Haul CEO and co-founder.
Created by Uber Freight alumni, Haul is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Denver.
