Autonomous electric freight company names new chief marketing officer, and transportation management solutions company hires a new chief technology officer.

Einride hires Corinne Aaron as CMO

Einride, a freight mobility company specializing in electric and autonomous vehicles, has hired Corinne Aaron as its new chief marketing officer. Linnéa Kornehed Falck, who has held the role since co-founding Einride in 2016, will focus on her roles as deputy CEO and executive board member.

"This move enables me to combine my passion for innovation in clean tech with my experience in scaling brands within the EV and automobile industries," said Aaron. "The work being done by Einride plays such a critical role in creating a greener, more intelligent future, and I look forward to seeing the impact our team has on the freight industry and society at large." 

Aaron brings nearly two decades of global marketing experience, with over ten years in leadership positions, to her new role at Einride. Most recently, Aaron served as the chief marketing officer at automotive brand Lynk & Co. Before that, she was the head of marketing for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Tesla for six years. Additionally, she's worked marketing for Reebok, launching the US subscription toy brand Lovevery in Europe, and marketing for Hyatt Hotels in Chicago.

With Corinne's experience in the EV sector and clear track record in building brands to support fast-scaling companies, I can't think of a better successor to guide the Einride brand forward."

PCS Software appoints Yusuf Ozturk as CTO

Transportation management platform provider PCS Software has appointed Yusuf Ozturk as its new chief technology officer. Ozturk brings over 25 years of experience in product development to his new role. Ozturk joins PCS from Third Summit, the developer of a cloud-based media management platform for production companies.

Before Third Summit, Yusuf was the CTO of Rand McNally, where he led the development of transportation products, including fleet management, truck navigation and logistics platforms, mobile apps, and aftermarket tablets and wireless headsets for commercial drivers. Before that, Yusuf was the vice president of engineering at HERE/Navteq, a location data and technology company. He also served in leadership roles at cars.com and aftermarket auto parts seller JC Whitney, and other technology companies.

"I am excited to join an AI-driven innovative company in the transportation space," said Ozturk. "I look forward to working with the team to develop and deliver cutting-edge transportation management software that helps our customers improve their efficiency and profitability."

Yusuf holds a PhD in computer science from Northwestern University. He started his career as a software engineer and contributed to six patents.
