NationaLease promotes Jane Clark to senior VP of operations
NationaLease, a truck leasing organization, recently promoted Jane Clark to senior VP of operations. In this expanded role, Clark will direct all national account support across NationaLease in addition to her existing responsibilities. Clark is also a weekly contributor to FleetOwner's IdeaXchange perspectives series.
“During her tenure at NationaLease, Jane has provided our members with a stellar level of service unmatched within the industry,” said Dean Vicha, president of NationaLease. “Her new role will increase her responsibilities across all aspects of NationaLease’s operations to bring positive change and drive business growth in the years to come.”
In addition to her expanded duties, Clark will continue to manage NationaLease’s member services, including reciprocal service, purchasing, and meetings. She will remain responsible for strengthening member relationships, reducing member costs, and improving collaboration within NationaLease support groups.
Before joining NationaLease, Clark served as area VP for Randstad.
CHEP appoints Xavier Garijo to newly created CEO Americas position
CHEP, a supply chain solutions company, recently appointed Xavier Garijo as the CEO of Americas following the announcement that CHEP North America’s president, Laura Nador, left her role.
Garijo brings 25 years of experience managing global consumer goods supply chains, operations, and multi-industry global logistics businesses. He was most recently a global executive board member for contract logistics at DB Schenker, a German logistics provider.
Garijo will lead the Americas region in this newly-created position, combining the previously separate CHEP North America and CHEP Latin America business units. This change reflects the increasing collaboration and interconnectivity between CHEP’s North American and Latin American operations and will help further serve CHEP’s customers and retail partners across the globe.

H&M Bay, Inc. announces promotion of Kevin McMahan to director of operations
H&M Bay, Inc., a logistics provider for less than truckload frozen and refrigerated commodities, recently promoted Kevin McMahan to director of operations.
McMahan has been with H&M Bay since 1997 and has held numerous positions in operations throughout his tenure. Starting as a Mid-Atlantic dispatcher and warehouseman, he worked his way up to warehouse manager and then division manager of H&M Bay’s Florida division. In 2015, McMahan was promoted to operations manager, where he served until his promotion.

Vinay Shahani rejoins Nissan North America to lead U.S. Marketing & Sales
Nissan North America named Vinay Shahani as senior VP of U.S. marketing and sales. Shahani replaces Mike Colleran, who is retiring from Nissan on March 31 after more than 12 years in top regional and global leadership positions.
As senior VP, Shahani will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities for the Nissan brand in the U.S. He will also have oversight of INFINITI Americas.

Shahani's work history includes nearly a decade at Nissan North America. After starting a job as an engineering manager at the Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant in 2004, he quickly moved into a managerial role within the company's marketing and sales function. From there, he held roles of increasing responsibility in sales operations, aftersales, product marketing, field sales, and marketing communications and media.
