Schneider National Inc. has been named Truckload Carrier of the Year for 2001 by Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the world's largest retailer.
"Schneider associates work very hard to provide value for our customers, and we are pleased to be recognized by Wal-Mart for our ability to provide excellent service and value," said Scott Arves, president, transportation sector, Schneider National.
The award is based on a consistent set of criteria including growth, level of service, freight acceptance, surge capacity, responsiveness, flexibility and ease of doing business.
