DOT extends wetline comment period

The Dept. of Transportation’s Research and Special Programs Administration has extended the comment period for its notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) to prohibit flammable liquids from being sent through unprotected piping on existing and newly-manufactured DOT spec’d tank motor vehicles to Apr. 28, 2005.

The NPRM was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 30 2004 [RIN 2137-AD36].
