Third party logistics provider GeoLogistics Corp. has hired Thomas Escott as CEO for the company's operations in North America, South America, Central America and the Caribbean. As CEO with Santa Ana, CA-based GeoLogistics, he is charged with growing the company's transportation management, freight-forwarding, customs brokerage, time-definite distribution, and project-cargo management business.

Escott founded Hudons, OH-based Shiplogix in 2000 and served as its CEO. Prior to founding Shiplogix, Escott was president of Caliber Logistics, a $700 million logistics company purchased by Federal Express in 1998.
