    Freightliner LLC has named Jerome Guillen general manager, new product development.

    Guillen will be responsible for directing the management of key new product development programs for the company's business units.

    He will manage a cross-functional team including members from engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales, marketing and purchasing to ensure products that optimize quality, customer satisfaction, safety, efficiency and cost.

    Guillen will report directly to president & CEO Rainer Schmueckle.
