In an effort to expand its capabilities in the performance parts arena, ArvinMeritor Inc.'s Light Vehicle Aftermarket (LVA) group has formed a strategic alliance with exhaust technology company Flowmaster. ArvinMeritor will distribute Flowmaster's portfolio of exhaust products, which include Cherry Bomb exhaust products, as well as an increasing line of stainless steel mufflers and chrome and stainless steel exhaust tips.

"ArvinMeritor LVA is committed to becoming the industry leader in performance parts," said Dan Daniel, senior vp of ArvinMeritor and president of LVA.

Daniel added that the partnership with Flowmaster positions ArvinMeritor LVA to capitalize on the growing segment within the exhaust components category.
