Sensor in bearing
The Timken Sensor-Pac moves the ABS sensor and tone ring from the brake assemble into a pre-assembled sealed bearing, simplifying installation, reducing maintenance and improving reliability. Timken has released a light-duty version of the Sensor-Pac cartridge bearing for light trucks and has begun limited production of a heavy-duty version in Europe. Production of a North American heavy-duty model is expected soon.
