Padcom, Inc., a leader in mobile VPN software solutions, announced that Ohio Multi-Agency Radio Communications System (MARCS) has selected Padcom’s TotalRoam Mobile Virtual Network (MVN) software for its statewide deployment.

Ohio MARCS has purchased 4,000 TotalRoam licenses for first responders, providing them with secure access to information from a single solution. TotalRoam integrates the existing MARCS RF radio system with a public wide area network and Wi-Fi hotspots.

The MARCS system also connects first responders with other public safety and service providers statewide, Padcom said.
