    Velociti names Powell COO
    Jan. 26, 2005

Velociti Inc., a mobile installation and deployment firm, has promoted Deryk Powell to COO from his current position as vp. As COO, Powell will be responsible for overseeing growth and strategic partnerships between the company, its vendors and customers.

Since joining Velociti in the early ‘90s, Powell has been credited with positioning the company to focus on system installations during a period of rapid expansion in the transportation sector.

“Under his guidance, Velociti not only introduced this new concept of mobile technicians to the transportation market, but it expanded its reach to include all aspects of technology deployments and service within the transportation, retail and warehousing market segments,” said Michael Kahn, Velociti president & CEO.
