The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has developed a publication designed to help carriers understand the new cargo securement rules that went into effect on January 1.

It outlines the old cargo securement regs and the new ones. The booklet includes a copy of the new regulations and the agency’s Enforcement Policy Memorandum designed to clarify the new requirements.
