Cummins Inc. and Westport Innovations Inc. have appointed Gottfried "Guff" Muench as president and CEO of their alternate fuels joint venture.

Muench has been with Cummins for 20 years, including four as a vp at the Cummins corporate headquarters and 12 years running a local distributor, Cummins British Columbia.
