PeopleNet continues to grow

Privately held satellite tracking provider PeopleNet said it had record growth for the 15th consecutive quarter, as well as the addition of 37 fleet customers.

Additionally, the company said it signed evaluation agreements with several multi-thousand unit private and for-hire carriers that have been using older, satellite-based technology.

During the second quarter, PeopleNet said its revenues soared 50% versus the same period the previous year. It added that Martin Transportation Systems, Wooster Motor Ways, Carolina Tank Lines and Reeves Brothers Trucking have all signed on with PeopleNet.
