• BAX Taps Hall for CIO

    Airfreight carrier BAX Global has promoted Doris Hall to chief information officer. Hall has more than 10 years of experience in information technology and has been with BAX Global for one year, serving as the vp of global applications. Prior to joining BAX Global, Hall was senior information technology manager for eight years with Emery Worldwide. She was also an analyst with the James River Corp.

    Airfreight carrier BAX Global has promoted Doris Hall to chief information officer. Hall has more than 10 years of experience in information technology and has been with BAX Global for one year, serving as the vp of global applications.

    Prior to joining BAX Global, Hall was senior information technology manager for eight years with Emery Worldwide. She was also an analyst with the James River Corp. and for 10 years was in senior manufacturing management for the Gardner Denver Mining and Construction, a division of Cooper Industries.

    One of Hall's primary responsibilities is to optimize BAX Global’s substantial information technology investment made over the last year. In addition, she will oversee the implementation of a comprehensive transportation optimization system and delivery of a set of systems that will enhance end-to-end product visibility.
