Juergen Rochert, who previously led Daimler Financial Services in Mexico, has been named vp of Diamler Truck Financial USA.

Rochert, who has 28 years with Daimler, will report directly to France Reiner, president & CEO of Daimler Financial Services. He will be responsible for the Americas Region and will become part of the company’s executive leadership team, replacing Richard Howard, who has been appointed a Board of Management Member, responsible for the Africa, Asia/Pacific Region.

The company also announced that Christopher Kaefer has been named vp-credit and national accounts, taking over for Steven Goodale, who has been appointed director of global credit in Berlin.

“The Daimler Truck Financial team ranked Number One in dealer satisfaction last year in the annual American Truck Dealers’ survey in the most difficult market and economic environment in years, so I am excited to build on delivering the highest levels of customer service,” Rochert said.

“Our value proposition will not change: we will support our partners and dealers at Freightliner, Western Star and Thomas Built Bus with innovative marketing and finance programs, and we will continue to be proactive with our customers across all segments to help them get through these difficult times,” he added. “We want to maintain our leadership position in the industry.”

Rochert also has served in Daimler’s Mercedes-Benz Financial business in the U.S. and Daimler Financial Services in Canada.
