SelecTrucks, the used-truck division of Freightliner LLC, has announced that its Buyer’s Assurance comprehensive warranty program will now be extended to medium-duty trucks. That warranty plan was originally developed to cover Class 8 vehicles.

Buyer’s Assurance is a 30-day comprehensive coverage package with no deductible. The plan covers all major vehicle components, including the engine, transmission, axles, cab, and frame. Additionally, the package covers components such as the clutch, turbocharger, ECM, starter, and alternator. The radiator, air compressor, brake drum, air conditioning system, and fifth wheel are also covered by the plan.

Freightliner LLC, the commercial vehicle arm of DaimlerChrysler, produces and markets Class 3 through 8 vehicles under the Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star, and Thomas Built Bus nameplates.
