SiriComm, Maptuit join forces

Broadband wireless software and network provider SiriComm and online routing company Maptuit are joining together to offer Maptuit’s FleetNav Express online routing package for owner operators and small fleets over SiriComm’s Wi-Fi network as a reseller.

“Offering an application such as FleetNav Express to truck drivers through our Wi-Fi service is the cornerstone of our long-term vision,” said Hank Hoffman, SiriCOMM president & CEO. “We are committed to providing a Wi-Fi network that provides access to applications and content that will help drivers stay productive while they are on the road.”

With a nationwide network of over 260 hotspots, SiriComm believes its network will aid in expanding the reach of the FleetNav Express Internet-based truck routing service to hundreds of thousands of professional drivers.

“Through this network, we will have our new online truck routing solution available to truck drivers where and when they need it -- online when they are at truckstops,” noted Jeff Papows, Maptuit’s CEO. “This will give drivers access to the directions and routes they need to get to their customer safely and on-time.”
