Eaton Corp. has entered into a global, non-exclusive licensing agreement with Clean Diesel Technologies Inc. to use its Advanced Reagent Injector System technology for the injection of hydrocarbon fuel in emissions reduction applications, the company announced. The system is targeted to begin production in 2011.
Glenn McDaniel, communications program manager for Eaton, told Fleet Owner the technology is already in field testing, but says it will be aimed initially at off-road applications.
