ArvinMeritor Taps Ryder for Supply Chain Management

ArvinMeritor Inc. has selected Ryder Systems Inc. as its lead logistics management service. Ryder will manage inbound, outbound and third-party shipments domestically and internationally for all ArvinMeritor locations throughout North America and Europe. Services provided by Ryder under the contract include procurement process support, transportation service provider management, freight bill auditing
ArvinMeritor Inc. has selected Ryder Systems Inc. as its lead logistics management service. Ryder will manage inbound, outbound and third-party shipments domestically and internationally for all ArvinMeritor locations throughout North America and Europe.

Services provided by Ryder under the contract include procurement process support, transportation service provider management, freight bill auditing and payment, invoicing and management reporting. Additionally, Ryder will negotiate rates for ArvinMeritor with providers of ground, rail, air and ocean transportation services.
