TMI's TripPak Express, a drop-box network designed to speed driver paperwork back to their respective companies, plans to expand service into Canada starting in July.

More than 1,000 truck stops and 700 fleets in the U.S. use the TripPak system, which makes copies of driver receipts and trip records and makes them available online.Drivers leave their documents at yellow TripPak drop boxes at a truck stop, then TMI picks them up, makes images of the documents, and transfers them to trucking companies via the Internet -- speeding up cash flow for both the company and its drivers, according to TMI.

"We've been closely tracking TripPak for years and are eager to see them in Canada," said Murray K. Mullen, CEO of Mullen Transportation, Inc., based in Aldersyde, Alberta.
