Tire maker Bridgestone/Firestone and the Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB) are joining forces to print and distribute over 100,000 tire inflation brochures that will be distributed during the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) Roadcheck 2001 program.

The four-page brochure, “What are the High Costs of low air pressure,” originally appeared in Bridgestone’s tire topic magazine, Real Answers, and is designed to inform truck drivers about the negative costs of low tire air pressure.

The brochures will be distributed by highway patrol officers June 5-7 to truckers at weigh-in stations across the United States, as well as in all Canadian provinces and territories.
