Haldex has unveiled a low-maintenance air pre-treatment condenser/separator especially designed for severe-service applications that experience extreme temperatures and humidity or requiring heavy loads and frequent stops.

Haldex Consep condenses, separates, and removes 90% of the oils, liquids and other contaminants from the vehicle’s air brake system before the air reaches the air dryer, said Haldex.

When combined with the Haldex DRYest or PURest air dryers, the company said the performance of the Consep condenser/separator keeps fleets running trouble-free longer in spite of extreme temperatures and high humidity.

The company added that Consep can also be used as a stand-alone air cleaner for less demanding systems, such as those found on trailers.
