Manhattan Associates has released the latest version of its PkMS supply chain software system, which now offers additional transportation management functions, through its acquisition of Logistics PRO.

“The integration of full transportation management into PkMS enables our customers to more effectively manage the costs and processes of one of the most complex links in the supply chain,” said Deepak Raghavan, senior vp, products and strategy, for Manhattan Associates. “It greatly enhances the return on investment of our overall supply chain system and assures that superior productivity and cost management extend out into the collaborative commerce environment of partners, suppliers and customers.”

This latest version of PkMS with the Logistics PRO addition provides several features, including load planning and optimization, international compliance and global shipping documentation and labeling, freight rate ‘shopping’ capabilities, plus automated audits, payments and analysis.
